Hey Daniel!
I was wondering how you like Bandcamp as a distiribution method for your music, and how you think it compares to other methods you've used in the past. I've always wondered whether artists stand to do better financially using the direct-to-fans methods than they would with record labels, etc. Do you find that to be the case?
Also, any chance of the East Coast seeing a Glowbug tour anytime soon?

Bandcamp is incredible. It's so well designed and beautiful to look at, I personally can't believe more well known artists aren't using it. Depending on the artist and fan base, you could definitely make more money using Bandcamp than working with a label but, like I said, depends on the artist. It's certainly different from the traditional distribution method in every way, but with the ability now to sell physical merch, it's getting even closer.
I would love to come to the east coast and play some shows, the real question is how exactly. It would be pretty easy to do some DJ sets, but I am really digging the 4 person band right now.

I still occasionally check the Idiot Pilot and TGATG ones out of some forlorn hope.

Daniel, Do you still have a lot of songs from Mr. Plastic and Suit of Swords that you love that never made it to the actual albums, that are just floating around on your ipod or computer? Do you think they will ever see the light of day?

There are actually quite a few B-Sides from both of those records, but I don't know if they will ever seen the light of day. Those are long albums anyway, so I was really able to put everything on that I wanted to put on.

Daniel, you really ought to consider releasing a massive B-sides someday. Or unofficially leaking it to your loving fans!

That is definitely a possibility, there are going to be a lot of great leftovers on this next record. It's hard to choose.

Hey Daniel,
So a while back you posted on your Tumblr that you might be doing another AMA on Reddit discussing "RE: end of Idiot Pilot". Is that still happening? Did it already happen? I think a lot of us are still wondering what DID happen?
Maybe you want to move on from that scene, and trust me, I am in love with Glowbug, but maybe some closure would be nice.
Anyways, you are an incredible musician. I try to share your stuff with everyone I know! I wear my Glowbug shirt proudly. Keep it up. Can't wait for Headhunters/Hearteaters.
